I love the quote above and have it posted on my refrigerator at home.  If more people followed the Dalai Lama's advice, there would be less of a need for mandatory, university "Race and Gender" courses, company-paid diversity training classes, bullying-awareness seminars, etc. --- at least in my opinion.
